Autumn King

This started as a carrot from the UK for planting for Fall production, but we have been growing and selecting for Spring, Summer and  Fall  growing with very good results.

Very sweet long roots and relatively short, very strong tops. Frost and disease resistant.

We sell this as bunched carrots up to the end of November - snow permitting, or harvest in March what's left in the ground. 11 years selection.

This is an open pollinated variety and has about 1% yellow carrots that appear.

We only have one carrot seed - being insect pollinated and having alot of bees o the farm - we havn’t worked out how to reliably produce other variesties.

But this one is good.
