Courses held on the Farm
Education and the sharing of knowledge is important to us, and we offer two courses
in 2012.
Vegetable Gardening in the Kootenays
This is a six month long course details on which can be found on a page below this
one.
This will be the third year that the course has been offered and each year it has
been fully subscribed and has generated extremely good reviews by the participants.
Introduction to Beekeeping
This is a seven month long course that start in the classroom in January and has
6 field days with the Bees at our bee yard on the farm. The aim is to take start
up beekeepers all the way through their first year of beekeeping.
The 2011 course was fully subscribed and has generated extremely good reviews by
the participants.
