Wautoma	An excellent cucumber from the breeding program at the University of Wisconsin in the 1980's. It can either be used small for pickles or left to grow for use as a slicing cucumber. Has a phenomenal cucumber smell. The plants set many lightly striped dark green fruit , with tiny white spines that come off easily. We got an awful lot of cucumbers off this one! Quick to set fruit, bitter-free, and it resists nearly all known cucumber diseases. (anthracnose, angular leaf spot, CMV, DM, PM, & scab!) You can grow it indoors or out. Provide some support outdoors, under cover quite happy on the ground. 3 years of selection.	$3.95 20 seeds
Telegraph Improved	Produces a prolific crop of long, smooth cucumbers that stay crisp and mild even 10 to 14 inches long. Can be grown on the ground or trellis outdoors or in the greenhouse. Approximately 62 days to maturity. 9 years of selection.	$3.95 20 seeds
Marketmore	Large, dark-green and non-bitter fruits from prolific vines. Produces well and consistently in hot or cool weather until frost. This variety is a high quality slicing cucumber with a small, semi bush vine that promotes easier picking. Fruit is 20cm/8 inches long, straight sided and dark green. Resistant to downy mildew, powdery mildew, scab and mosaic virus . 7 years of selection	$3.95 20 seeds
Tendergreen	Tendergreen burpless cucumber is sweet, tender, non-bitter and acid free. Its medium green, smooth, blocky fruit is at its best when harvested at eight inches or less. Tendergreen can also be used for pickling if picked even earlier.	$3.95 20 seeds

As a farm we sell an enormous number of cucumbers each year. We grow a lot of F1 hybrids of the long European type, mini cucumbers and medium sizes. Over the years all the medium size cucumbers have been moved to open pollinated non hybrid varieties and we are starting to do the same with the long European types.

Why? Because they taste better, have farm more resistance to cold temperatures and diseases and yield about the same - and we can produce our own seed which if you've ever paid $1 a seed for hybrids, you will understand the importance of.

All our cucumbers are hand pollinated to ensure they are true to type.
